The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The case was curious, alright. The movie was very well shot, though, especially the special effects. The scenes that played both in the forward and rewind modes were simply splendid. And the reason the father made the clock tick back in time was touching. H G Wells, man, wonder what you'd say to this one!

What stayed with me from the movie were also some of the most interesting dialogues and thoughts I've met in a long, long time.

Sample this:
"Nothing lasts."
"It's a funny thing about comin' home. Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same. You'll realize what's changed is you."
"Will you sleep with me?"; "Absolutely."
"Have you slept with a woman before?"; "Never on a Sunday."
"You never know what's comin' for ya."
"Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss."

This one, though, is the most special:
"Along the way you bump into people who make a dent on your life. Some people were born to sit by a river. Some get struck by lightning. Some have an ear for music. Some are artists. Some swim. Some dance. Some know buttons. Some know Shakespeare. Some are mothers."
